When I'm not blathering into a microphone about pop culture minutae, I'm typing about it. I'm a playwright, freelance writer and Senior Staff Contributor at I've even had stuff published in proper, grown-up papery magazines such as Grok, Whingeing Pom and Metro magazines, and was Games Editor at (Formerly I've also been an independent theatre producer and director.

These pursuits have given me a high tolerance for waffle, a tin ear and the body clock of an over-caffeinated vampire. Naturally, these qualities made me perfect for my other role as podcast editor (or to use the technical term, Sonic Hog Makeup Artist).
